2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that can be stored on your computer, phone, tablet or other device when you visit a website.

They can be used for a variety of purposes, including making websites work properly, remembering preferences, providing security and allowing third-party content to function.

Similar technologies may also be used to store or access information on your device.
